We are currently hiring for the following positions:

Residential Security System Installation and Service Technician

Job Description:

Local Security Company owned by Jackson EMC, Walton EMC and Greystone Power, three of the nation’s largest electric utility EMC companies, is seeking qualified and experienced installation and service technicians to serve the customers of EMC Security.

Requirements(Skills):

  • 3 years field experience installing and servicing security, fire andother related systems for residential application
  • Experience with major brands of GE Security, Ademco and DSC
  • Experience installing both hard-wired and wireless systems.Must be familiar with construction principles and how to effectively install hard-wired systems in both new and existing homes.
  • Must be able to demonstrate efficient use of tools of retrofit installation such fish tape, glow-rods, levels,sheetrock saws, etc.
  • Must have experience trouble-shooting existing systems isolating and repairing systems.
  • Must be able to use effectively voltage/ohm meters to install andtrouble-shoot
  • Must be able to work in confined areas such as crawlspaces and attics
  • Must be able to be on-call several times a year to handle after hours and service calls. Flat on- call base pay plus any hourly paid for time spent on call responding to customers

  • Must live within 25 miles of offices in Lawrenceville officeMust be able to pass a required background investigation and drug-testing

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly pay dependent upon experience level,full benefits, company-provided vehicle and cell phone
  • Generous amount of overtime offered
  • Hiring bonus for the right candidate that is employed after 6 months with company

Inside Sales Representative

Job Description:

Fast paced, high energy inbound and outbound sales for EMC Security residential and small business channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with existing and potential customers via inbound and outbound phone calls, to determine which product solutions would meet the needs of each customer.
  • Utilize sales skills to perform a needs analysis with every customer.
  • Multitask in a fast-paced environment handling multiple mediums of communication simultaneously including phone, email, and chat.
  • Become a product/service expert with the ability to relay such information to the customer.
  • Responsible for utilizing multiple customer databases to access, change, or input account information for new and existing customers.
  • Work cross-functionally with all areas of the company such as Marketing, Operations, and Outside Sales.
  • Utilize scheduling tools to efficiently delegate appointments to both Outside Sales and Service.
  • Achieves monthly key performance metrics, call productivity standards, call quality performance, defined sales call flow structure, and adherence to provided schedule.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales quotas.
  • Return all voicemails, email, and other follow up required within the same business day.
  • Performs other duties as requested.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.

Outside Sales Representative

Job Description:

Meet face to face, on-site with residential and small business customers to evaluate and recommend appropriate security protection for the home and business.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize sales skills to perform a needs analysis with every customer.
  • Multitask while on-site with customer handling paperwork, credit software, and other.
  • Become a product/service expert with the ability to relay such information to the customer.
  • Responsible for utilizing multiple customer databases to access, change, or input account information for new and existing customers.
  • Utilize CRM to efficiently update leads, schedule follow-ups, and status updates until sales cycle is complete.
  • Monthly opportunity for bonus based on achieving sales metrics and quota.
  • Return all voicemails, email, and other follow up required.
  • Performs other duties as requested.
